Doug Anderson & Joshua M. Stewart
Doug Anderson has four award winning poetry collections: The Moon Reflected Fire, Blues for Unemployed Secret Police, Horse Medicine, and Undress, She Said. His play, Short Timers, was produced at Theater for the New City in New York City in 1981. Anderson’s work has appeared in The Massachusetts Review, Poetry, Ploughshares, and dozens of other publications. He has written critical articles for the New York Times Council, Poets & Writers, and other funding agencies.
Joshua Stewart is the newly appointed Massachusetts Beat Poet Laureate. He is the author of Break Every String, The Bastard Children of Dharma Bums, and Love Something. His work has appeared in the Massachusetts Review, Brilliant Corners, New Flash Fiction Review, and Best Small Fictions 2025. His latest book is Welcome Home, Russell Edson – a graphic novel & prose poem hybrid created in collaboration with illustrators Bret M. Herholz and Aaron J. Krolikowski.
