SUMMARY:Sally Rogers & Claudia Schmidt
DESCRIPTION:Sally Rogers & Claudia Schmidt \nCelebrate the love and power of music with Sally Rogers & Claudia Schmidt. Heart-opening harmony and musical chemistry like no other\, Sally and Claudia continue to win over the folk community with their double dulcimer work and shared joy of performing. They have been weaving their voices\, dulcimers\, and guitars together for decades\, creating an atmosphere of joy and musical lushness that audiences find so irresistible\, they frequently join right in. Starting with their soaring harmonies – “blood harmony” was how one fan described it – fascinating double dulcimer work\, the mix of 6 and 12 string guitars\, then brought together with a wide choice of material encompassing their originals\, traditional\, and choice compositions of contemporary songwriters\, a concert by these two masters of their craft is an immensely satisfying and restorative experience. Time has only deepened and enriched the music they create together.

SUMMARY:Ellis Paul
DESCRIPTION:Ellis Paul \nEllis Paul doesn’t just write songs; he’s a guitar-carrying reporter who covers the human condition and details the hopes\, loves\, losses of those he observes\, turning their stories into luminous pieces of music that get under your skin and into your bloodstream. And much like the artists who have influenced him\, everyone from Joni Mitchell\, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon to the singer-songwriter who is undoubtedly his greatest inspiration\, Woody Guthrie\, Paul weaves deeply personal experiences with social issues and renders them as provocative works that are as timely as they are timeless. His songs have appeared in several blockbuster films (Me\, Myself\, and Irene; Shallow Hal\, Hall Pass) and have been covered by award winning country artists (Sugarland\, Kristian Bush\, Jack Ingram). Through a steady succession of albums of his own – a remarkable 23 releases so far – and a constant touring presence around the world\, Paul’s audience has grown into a loyal legion of fans. Along the way\, he has picked up an impressive number of awards including the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Award\, 15 Boston Music Awards\, An Honorary Doctorate from the University of Maine\, the 2019 International Acoustic Music Awards Artist of the Year and most recently his album\, The Storyteller’s Suitcase\, was named the 2019 NERFA Album of the Year.

SUMMARY:Garnet Rogers
DESCRIPTION:Garnet Rogers \nGarnet Rogers has established himself as ‘One of the major talents of our time”. Hailed by the Boston Globe as a “charismatic performer and singer”\, Garnet is a man with a powerful physical presence – close to six and a half feet tall – with a voice to match. With his “smooth\, dark baritone” (Washington Post) his incredible range\, and thoughtful\, dramatic phrasing\, Garnet is widely considered by fans and critics alike to be one of the finest singers anywhere. His music\, like the man himself\, is literate\, passionate\, highly sensitive\, and deeply purposeful. Cinematic in detail\, his songs “give expression to the unspoken vocabulary of the heart” (Kitchener Waterloo Record). An optimist at heart\, Garnet sings extraordinary songs about people who are not obvious heroes and of the small victories of the everyday. As memorable as his songs\, his over-the-top humour and lightning-quick wit moves his audience from tears to laughter and back again.
