Sharon Arsego & John L. Stanizzi
Arsego is from Bristol where she works as a senior administrative assistant for the city. She has three published collections including Scenes and Sonnets, an ekphrastic collaboration with Massachusetts photographer Wendy Tobin. Arsego is an active participant in various arts and culture communities, has been a featured spoken word performer for two seasons of The Soul Session in Bristol, and also writes for The Bristol Magazine. Stanizzi, innaugural poet laureate of Coventry, CT, is the author of 15 collections, including Chants, POND, Feathers & Bones and Entra La Notte. His poems and CNF have appeared in Cortland Review, Rattle, Prairie Schooner, New York Quarterly, Paterson Literary Review, Potomac Review and Blue Mountain Review. Stanizzi is a former New England Poet of Year, and a Wesleyan University Etherington Scholar. His career spans 26 years of teaching, including directing theater.
